Hudson's 2nd Birthday Party

After all the preparations for Hudson's Robot Party it was finally here and gone! The day before the party Hudson was running a fever so I took him into the doctor's office and he had a nasal infection! It seems like every time this kid gets a cold it turns into an infection. He had been sick weeks ago with a cold and now the day before his party was running a fever and feeling grumpy. I was so bummed, but we went ahead with the party since he wasn't contagious and all the food and planning had been done. It was still a great time, but Hudson was definitely not his upbeat, talkative self. We had our good friends take pictures at the party, so I will be posting those as soon as we get them! But here are some pictures that we took that day with our camera. We had lots of things for the kids to do; play dough, coloring, sticker crafts, robot boxes to dress up in, a rocket tent, and Hudson's new water table from Mimi and Cappie!

Noni

Noni has held such a special place in our hearts and I don't think I can put into words how much we will miss her. God greatly blessed us with her life!  God also gave us the blessing of allowing us precious moments to say goodbye that we will never forget. On Friday, March 19th Noni went home and one day we will see her again!

"When I call out, answer me, O God who vindicates me! Though

After much delay we converted Hudson's crib to a toddler bed today. He was SO excited to be such a big boy, maybe even a little too excited. After tucking him in and explaining to him how big boys stay in their beds until the morning... He waited about one second until after the door closed to come running out into the hallway.  That scenario happened about 20 times until we decided to flip the big boy bed back around against the wall. Back to the crib for tonight.

Happy Birthday Jerenne

 

 

We celebrated Jerenne's Birthday last night over dinner, carrot cake, and a game of Bananas. It was a fun night!

Our good friends Chris and Alexis welcomed their second baby boy on January 13th. Lexi asked me to take some last minute pictures before Chris' family went back home to Seattle. These are a few of my favorites.

Flagstaff

We took Hudson to Flagstaff today to go sledding. He had a lot of fun and loved the snow. He of course, was trying to eat it like he does with everything else. :) Wesley and Kyle came with us, and we also brought all three dogs!
