Hudson's First Birthday Pary

Here is a small preview of Hudson's Birthday Party. There will be many more pictures to come. Erin Hicks took the pictures at his party. The Ostrich Festival

We took Hudson to the Ostrich Festival this weekend. It is a festival that they have in Chandler each year, and this was our first time going. They had all kinds of rides, games, food, and entertainment. Hudson loved all the excitement, and even enjoyed watching some of the shows.

Busy Ball Popper

Trying to figure out how it works...

Hudson got this toy for Christmas from Nanny, and I just brought it back out again after putting it away for a while. He loves it! It plays music when you hit the red button and air pushes the balls through the tube and they all pop out the top. It's a really fun toy, thanks Nanny!!!

Tubes Are In

Here is Hudson recovering from the tubes procedure. Everything went well, it was very fast, and we had him back in our arms after only 10 minutes!

Hudson gets Tubes

Hudson is scheduled tomorrow morning at 9 A.M. to get tubes placed in his ears. He has been battling a number of ear infections since he was 6 months old, and we have come to the conclusion that this is what needs to be done. Please keep him in your prayers as he undergoes this minor surgery. Please also pray that the tubes will be a solution to the problem, as there is a chance that they may not help. Thanks for your support and we will keep you posted!

Loves to Swing

Grammie was determined to find and hang a swing for Hudson while she was in town in February. And he loves his new swing. Hudson loves being outside; watching Ali run around in the yard, see the planes fly by, and look at the birds in the trees!

Milestones

First smile: 1 month old

First laugh: 7 weeks old

First food: Rice cereal, 5 months old

First time he rolled over: 14 weeks from back to tummy

First time he sat up: 5 months and independently around 6 1/2 to 7 months

First time he crawled: Army crawl around 6 months

First tooth: 7 months (Hudson currently has 5 teeth at 11 months old)

First words: "de de" for doggie, "ba" for ball, "bear" (Hudson LOVES bears!)

First footsteps: 10 1/2 months and he's getting better and better each day!

First Haircut

I completely forgot my camera for his first hair cut, and he was so cute sitting in the chair! But here are some pictures of him at home later that day.
